The Regina Ciclarum is a bicycle route that starts in Rome and reaches the sea at Fiumicino, Along the coast of the province of Rome.
The cycle route, about 35 km long one way, follows the course of the Tiber River and passes through some of the most beautiful and scenic areas of the city.
The route begins in the northern part of Rome, near Piazza Mazzini, and winds along the Tiber, passing through some of the city's most popular areas, such as the Castel Sant'Angelo and Tiber Island. It then runs through Rome's southern suburbs, where some of the city's green and natural areas can be admired, before arriving at the sea at Fiumicino, where spectacular views of the coast and the Pontine Islands can be enjoyed.
The route is well-marked and suitable for cyclists of all levels, although attention should be paid to weather conditions during the winter months. There are numerous rest stops and water fountains along the route.
The route passes through some of Rome's most iconic places, such as Ponte Milvio, Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza Trilussa, offering cyclists the chance to admire, and reach by riding a few hundred meters, some of the city's most famous attractions.

In terms of safety, the Line 3 route alternates between stretches traveled on bike paths and safe dirt roads that run along the river course. For those who do not have a good level of fitness, we recommend returning by train from Parco Leonardo station.
It is strongly recommended that you always wear a protective helmet while riding and that you secure your bicycle with a chain and lock at every stopping point along the route.
